Restorative Remembrances

Tune: Galilee

('Jesus calls us o'er the tumult')

Psalm 77 v.10-15

********

I will remember sure the years

Of the most high God, though fears

I do have, yet I will recall

His works, wonders, so not fall

I will meditate too of all

Your work, your doings extol

Will talk of them, comfort they be

Through my troubles unto me

Your way, O God, in Temple be

It your dwelling, sanctuary

There we learn of your holiness

And your good intent to bless

You the God that wonders does do

They be many, not a few

By your strength you did redeem sure

Your people Israel e'ermore

The second stanza in particular I love. My morning walks are a sort of meditation of all those works and wonders. Lovely write dear Orchi, thank you.
