There is something about a nod or a tip of the hat
Saying good morning or make things a matter of fact
Is it that it connects us in a timeless cycle from what's been before
Coming from within the core a universal sign to show we are sure
Languages can get complicated but the body always knows
To trust the gut and follow the nose, letting the feet guide the hands to fulfil the heart and soul
These are random thoughts from sheltering my eyes in the rain, seeing many souls walk this earth reflecting the smiles that bring rainbows to my brain

First of all, an adorable video of an adorable little girl, that made me smile from ear to ear. It is so important to acknowledge each other, in even the simplist ways. When I pass someone randomly, and they say good morning, or how are you, I respond in like kind, smiling just to think that they noticed me and wished me well even not knowing who I am. This is such a thoughtful write dear poet, you made my day.
Thank you so much for your kind words my friend. They have sat with me on many dark days and yes no matter how gray every morning is to me, I'll never fail to acknowledge those I see....
It's why I'll always prefer walking the dog rather than a stroll through town!
