Gary Lineker Is A Walker's Quaver

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

All the presenters standing in solidarity
Sounds like a pantomime to me
Gary Lineker opens his mouth
Let's dissect what this is all about
He made certain commentaries
Comparing the Tories to the Nazis
With their immigration policies
The BBC was on it's knees
Match Of The Day went ahead
It had no presenters instead
I just have to shake my head
He didn't care about other things
World Cup stadium builders dead
He just took the money and to Qatar
It was full steam ahead
Now it's all been forgotten about
Basically put to bed
Gary now calls the BBC the best and
Fairest broadcaster in the world
No wonder with all that he earned
There's no need to be concerned
Look at the wages that they on
Self righteous pricks
True colours shown in one

It becomes terribly tiresome that it pops up in the news, among the other news items.
    Aren't there more important things?!

    • Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Exactly, I often wonder if these things are being done to distract us from something else.

That Quaver, that cad, that bounder,,,,, oohh! The air will turn blue. lol.
Oh, it's 'celebrities', some of whom make us feel sick having to hear about their every move.

      • Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Completely agree, like you say there is more important things going on but I thought it would be fun to write about how pathetic it all is.

        • orchidee

I meant - that in the news it may jump from earthquake news, to silly celebrities.

            I get you yeah.

Pathetic distraction (cherry picked from above) just about covers it....
