Maybe Abuse Of Power

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

Sometimes I feel like

It is abuse of power

To intimidate a friend

When you possess bottom power

Some really get captivated

Bound by such a spell

Becoming slaves on the spot

Eyes in escort, everywhere

Sometimes I feel like

It is all our fault, though our curse

To invest in such powers

Always spell bound-driven by force

Bottom power be dictating

Always by force, no choice

Neck forced to strain

Eyes, always held captive

Sometimes I feel like

It is all about bragging rights

The power given in parading

Sometimes maybe abuse of power

    Brilliant!
    (maybe, but more likely
    you see, far too clearly
    to word your wisdom, accessibly
    and so, misunderstandings
    undermine
    the power of your message
    but only for some
rest of us, will read and read again
till we can elevate our awareness
    to your insightful levels
    and maybe
    we too, can appreciate
    what power, awaits
    in each and every, choice
    we make in life...)
