Spring Ascending

Lorna

Such a hush

The sun streaming

Early Spring

Quiet underground awakenings

And flurries of feathers

Awareness of old repetitious activities

That are yearly new

Never tiresome

Raises a collective sigh

"Spring Ascending" is a beautiful poem that captures the essence of spring through its evocative imagery and thoughtful use of language. It reminds us of the cyclical nature of life and the beauty of renewal that can be found in even the most familiar of experiences.

Your comments are better than the poem! Ta!
