Such a hush
The sun streaming
Early Spring
Quiet underground awakenings
And flurries of feathers
Awareness of old repetitious activities
That are yearly new
Never tiresome
Raises a collective sigh

Thanks for that Neville because........... and I childishly deleted it........someone left a comment that said "the poem was missing words so he couldn't understand it"........ oops I thought - must have been toooooo telegraphic..... I know I tend to keep things short..... I wanted to reply read the title for a clue but didn't...... have a lovely day!
"Spring Ascending" is a beautiful poem that captures the essence of spring through its evocative imagery and thoughtful use of language. It reminds us of the cyclical nature of life and the beauty of renewal that can be found in even the most familiar of experiences.
Your comments are better than the poem! Ta!
