i wont

MaggieRaven

i wont be another lightning strike

that burns you in the rain

i dont want to keep you up at night

but i know i'll be up thinking of you

i want you to forget me when i leave

forget everything i said or didnt say

i want you to smile when you think of me

then turn to someone else's arms

i wont make a place in your heart

and leave you with an empty pit

i dont want my love to fall apart

but i want you to know you are loved

I felt the personal attachment you unselfishly resisted placing as a burden and knowingly accepted a painful path while whispering encouraged steps

such a relatable read, thanks for sharing
    (loyalty is a virtue
    kindness, a point of grace
    empathy a burden, when
we share our heart's without calculation
    ..
not all will work out in life, yet
    if we follow sincerity's, path
    as much as we can
    we'll sleep easier at night...)
