Listening.

Fay Slimm.

Listening.

After much dampness

today's sunshine dries wings

as feathered ruffs sweeten

      birds' Springtime singing

their urges of  season

           while I verse thrills

of lusty attraction

     by just listening.

Beautifully capatured dear Fay, there is nothing like the trilling and warbling of Natures sweetest creatures.

Oh nothing to touch the feel of new surging from plant growth to birdsong at this time of year I agree dear Bella. So pleased you enjoyed the read.

Now I can't wait to put out the feeders for the day..... I am overrun with wrens but also my cardinals, jays, titmice and some spring robins have shown up.... they eat me out of house and home but love every one...... your beautiful imagery pays them tribute! I'll read it to them today.........
