Resurrection Reign

Tune: Gelobt Sei Gott

('Good Christians all, rejoice and sing')

1 Corinthians 15 v.20-26

********

Now is Christ risen from the dead

He ever lives, our risen Head

Water of life and living Bread

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

He the first-fruits, conquering death

Who gave His life to final breath

Yet all was as the Scriptures saith

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

For since by man came death, by man

Came also resurrection, can

We believe this? There be no ban

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

For as in Adam all die, e'en

So in Christ shall all, shall be seen

All made alive in Him, fine scene

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

But each one in their own order

For Christ He be the first-fruits sure

Then rise His people, live e'ermore

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

Raised at His return, He shall give

Kingdom to His Father, we live

Satan like wheat shall not us sieve

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

This when He shall have put down all

Authority, power, each fall

At His throne, attend to His call

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

For He must reign, each enemy

Then put under His feet, so be

Death destroyed, this His victory

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

No one knows! Not even Jesus as the Son of God knows. He says somewhere that only God the Father knows.
I ask the same question of KP and I. lol.
