Tune: Noel Nouvelet

('Now the green blade rises')

John 21 v.6-14 parts

*********

Cast net on right side of ship, there Jesus said

At sea of Tiberias, risen from dead

And you disciples shall find fish for sure

They did cast and drew in a shoal not mean, poor

When they came to land, they saw fire of coals there

Jesus said, bring of fish you have caught, them share

Fish and bread prepared, Come, eat, Jesus said

They had breakfast with Him. He rose from the dead

Count of fishes one hundred and fifty three

Even there so many, net not broken, see

None of them dared to ask Him, Who you be?

They knew He was the risen Lord completely

talk to me not of fishes nor seafood, I have been off sick for the past week with a very sea sicky tummy having feasted on a dodgy dressed crab and a pickled onion .. 🐭🐧ðŸĶ€â™‹ðŸĪŠ

Thanks N! Oops! I never have fish for brekkie - do you? I don't have much seafood either.

We watched the Light and Sound version of the casting to the starboard side and that was powerful. And here we know for sure that they could count. So we make it count.
