Are you insane yet?

David Wakeling

We all come into this crazy world,
With nothing but a breath or two.
We look around  beyond the ground,
But the infinite lies beyond the blue.

We can’t understand why two and two is four,
Or even why the apple falls to the floor,
We are not told how to be or what to see,
We simply stand knocking at the door.

Many believe in what they cannot see,
They talk of Love yet they hate everything,
Some are locked away for being bizarre,
Are we all insane? Perhaps we are.

Sanity can be so different to us all but if we were all the same it would be a very boring world.
