Knowledge And Wisdom.

Goldfinch60

In our lives we gain knowledge,

Knowledge that fill our lives.

The more knowledge we achieve

The wiser we become,

So with that knowledge

We always know what to say.

But the wisdom that we have

Then becomes so important

And leads us to that time

When we know when to say it.

while the marriage between the two may often appear seamless, there is a distinct difference .. but I agree with your every word ... 😎

      Good write gold.
I wish I had thought before I uttered 'I do' to KP that terrible day! lol.

      • Goldfinch60

We all make mistakes in our life by opening our mouths sometime before thinking.

True Andy, the words may be the right notes but the tempo makes all the difference.

        • Goldfinch60

Very true soren, thank you for your comment.

And then there are times when we hit a speed bump and we don't know what the hell to say. 😆

          • Goldfinch60

Yes AP, that happens to us all.

"Wisdom" is "knowledge" under control. Sometimes the smartest thing one can do is to not say anything. Wise words, Andy. - Phil A.

            • Goldfinch60

Very true Phil, saying nothing is often the best response.

              Brilliant!
these words hit home with me, Andy
with each passing day, i fear
the value of articulation is diminished
from our so called leaders, to the people we come across
              it's like, 'well spoken'
is fast becoming an archaic trait...
              how sad

So very true Mek, they no longer think of others before opening their mouths.

"How do you know when a politician is lying?"

                "Their lips move!"

                Andy
