Tune: Heinlein
('40 days and 40 nights')
Psalm 69 v.29-36
********
I am poor, sorrowful be
Let your salvation to me
Come, O God, set me on high
May I feel your presence nigh
I will praise God's name with song
Praise with song both short and long
I Him too will magnify
With thanksgiving, this my cry
This shall please the Lord better
Than sacrifice, law's letter
The humble shall see, be glad
Shall no more be downcast, sad
Your heart shall live, you who seek
God, revealed to humble, meek
For the Lord does hear the poor
Shall help them faithful for sure
The Lord He does not despise
His prisoners, them espies
Let heaven, earth, seas, all praise
Him, and to Him worship raise
For God He will save Zion
Rebuild cities, shall be done
Judah restored it shall be
And His people dwell there free
They shall possess the land there
Descendants in it shall share
They that love His name shall dwell
Therein, and His goodness tell

Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
A wonderful hymn-poem, and especiall love the second stanza, what better way to praise than with song for it goes out into the universe.
Thanks Bella.
