Christ arisen, ever living
Light and life and love you bring
Fill us with your joy and gladness

Through your Spirit's faith well-spring
That we are in you forgiven
Made inheritors of heaven
For you Father so loved the world
And your purpose here unfurled
To gather all things in Christ, so
They shall all be one, we know
You gave your only begotten
Son, Jesus, the only one
That whosoever believes in
Him may be saved, freed from sin
It be your will that none perish
You do love and each cherish
So believing we may have sure
Life e'erlasting evermore
Light our lives where dull or dreary
Look on our fallow ground, see
Spirit, give refreshing water
Inspire us afresh, us stir
Trusting through life's times and trials
Learning, growing, wait awhiles
Waiting on you strength we renew
Come to us with grace anew
On each step, changed to your image
Onwards going, give courage
'Til the heavenly land reach we
Then see you eternally
