Godly Graces

Tune: Beatitudo

(one tune to: 'O for a closer walk with God')

Psalm 15

*******

Lord, who shall in your tent abide?

[In] Tabernacle reside?

Who shall dwell in your holy hill?

And know your presence still

They that walk uprightly, and they

Work righteousness each day

They that speak the truth in their heart

From lies, falsehood depart

They that backbite not with their tongue

To you with it they sung

Nor do they evil to neighbour

Nor reproach nor demur

They in whose eyes a vile person

Is condemned, evil one

They who do honour them that fear

The Lord, and know Him near

They that to their own hurt do swear

When troubles they forbear

They will not change their word, but do

What they say unto you

They who put not out their money

To interest, usury

Nor reward against innocent

Do they take, not a cent

They who do these things, they shall ne'er

Be moved, but blessings share

They obtain help from Christ their Lord

Trusting His living word

wasn't it denarius or shekels .. or sumpfink .. I'm pretty sure cents came a whole lot later .. and of course you got a whole lot more for your dollar ...

Thanks N. Yes, denarius and shekel and other coinage too I think.
