The boy at the bus station

Jan_Yin

On my way home today,

a sight that made my day,

heatwave in the middle of May,

And it's definitely not the sun's rays.

an angel and I did not need to pray,

a snack and I did not have to pay,

I know it sounds cliche,

had to pinch myself to make sure am ok.

The boy looked glamours despite,

the thunder, lightning, and the fright,

his smile so bright.

what a delight,

stood there in the cover of Night.

as he beamed,

heavingly light shone down,

highlighting every feature,

the light on his head like a crown.

he starts walking over, my heart frantic,

do I look good I start to panic,

the lightning made the situation dramatic,

I start to shiver it's as cold as the artic.

he takes off his coat, will he put it around me?

I was so excited with no wish to flee,

as he gets closer my heart leaps,

I'm dead I thought, R.I.P.

closer, my breathing races,

this could be one of the love at first sight cases,

here he comes closer to me,

wait, where are you going? am right here Can't you see?.
