To people who help us survive

_lonely__side

We could belong to varied races.

We might not recognize them as familiar faces.

However, they are aware of the depths to which no one can dive.

We may be oblivious to each other, but our souls collide.

Everything about them is a perfect reflection of yourself.

They make us feel things we kept hidden on the lowest shelf.

You long for them to share your life.

Though it's possible that they only came to bring you back into the light.

They vanish and leave a vacuum behind.

That void is a reminder of all the things you still need to find.

All they want is for you to remember

You may mess up a thing or two, but for them, you're forever pristine.

Nice piece. I felt the pathos.
