serendipity

waynechester

serendipity, oh serendipity,

how you came and changed my life,

when i least expected it,

you brought her back into my sight.

we had tried before, but failed,

our love once strong, now derailed,

but fate had other plans in store,

and brought us back, stronger than before.

i wasn't looking, but there you were,

a love that i thought was just a blur,

but now it's clear, our love is real,

and i know it's something we can feel.

we've worked through our issues, past and present,

and i can see our future, so pleasant,

together we'll go, hand in hand,

with love lighting the way to the promised land.

this second chance, a gift so rare,

a love reborn, beyond compare.

serendipity, you've shown me the way,

and i’ll hold this love, close to my heart, come what may.
