Keeping it “Untitled.”

paperjam

There’s the “you” in my head.

The one I can't forget.

The one that spends all her time

With me and no one else.

At places where the sun cares to shine

So brightly

Blindingly

With soft shadows falling on you.

Oh, you.

Through the vibrant scenes that come through.

But then there’s you.

The one not in my head.

The one I see so few.

In classes or flitting glimpses

That I manage to do

And in every sight, I hope

For the sun to do its part,

But that will never happen.

So then string me along.

And I’ll do my due role.

In messing myself up.
