the older i get

the easier it is to detect

chaos

i've learned when to run

to not follow

breadcrumbs 

to not lose myself 

in the "i can fix them" mentality

& rather open my eyes

to see the reality 

of what you look like

& who you are

without the rose colored lenses

creating delusions of grandeur
