The Universe

¥in Lin

I looked at the sky
and for a moment I was lost
acknowledging universe's beauty
I mean it's magnificent how can I not?

however it's just as mysterious
as if it holds so much in it
perhaps I'm trying to understand more
putting pieces together that don't even fit

but have you ever wondered about
that if it knows how enchanting it looks from afar
maybe if we look closely it has bruises too
but we named them stars

what if the Sun resembles its heart
encircled by planet emotions
but it doesn't just end here
as even in darkness the Moon is always in the brightest motions

what if the black hole is its mind
according to people, the dark and terrible place to be
storing everything like memories
and never setting them free

the universe as well has its secrets
but those are sensationally tied in one
but wait...
does that mean we're like the universe too?
will our scars become our constellation?

Scars into constellation. That’s vivid and maybe the refectory way to keep the score?
