Life is like a🌹 rose
Being that
with pleasure there accompanies some kind of pain
You can love the rose for its beautiful petals
But will you love her thorns akin
Cherish me like a rose 🥀
Delicate with the tender pieces of my being
But not afraid to conquer the walls of hesitation
Deep enough to facilitate my vulnerability
Yet playful bringing a captivating smile to my face
I’m multifaceted and Resilient like the rose

This, Dear Poet, is excellent on several levels. “But not afraid to conquer the walls of hesitation” , How freakin cool is that ? And that Ninja technique, starting w a rose a thorn a pain/ pleasure comparing to life has real chance of only living in a place of phrase that is familiar, instead ( back to the Ninja thing) you laid in the weeds lulling snd leaving my non exercised anticipation hidden in the closet. But then, Those last mine lines released, challenging to get up to speed cuz you got no mercy for duffers with ill conceived predisposition. I barely caught up and glad I did cuz I so enjoyed a satisfying moment. Thanks and I’m a fan!!
Thank you so much I’m happy to know you enjoyed my piece!
