A perfect date doesn’t exi-

Serene

The Date-day, had finally arrived,
Birds sang sweetly, as he waited outside.
On his bullet, a blue blazer he wore,
Ready to take me, on a happiness galore.

Walked towards him, with butterflies in my stomach,
And the time froze, when he greeted me with a rose.
Smiled back at him, not a word to say,
I sat on the bike and held him in a gentle way,

Softly he whispered, "Hold me close and tight,"
My head on his back, arms entwined, it just felt right.
With spring breeze, that’s sweet and light,
We drove slowly, enjoying the sunset's sight.

A tiny note to my surprise, "Shall we dance?" it reads,
I nodded my head with rosy cheeks.
We sway to the beat, hand in hand, eye to eye,
Lost in our world, letting the worries fly.

World could stop, and we wouldn't care,
As long as, we had each other, to stare.
We went for a drive, in the late of night,
With pretty smiles and city lights in sight.

And he dropped me at my door,
A night to remember, forevermore.
And that was the beginning, of our beautiful love story,
Filled with moments of joy and glory.
