Lost in the Sky of Blue Poem, by Dove, at My poetic side

Like a Dove that wants to get lost
in the sky of blue,

My heart longs for the love that I once knew.

I am just a lonely bird, without you,

Lost and searching for a love that's true.

My thoughts wander to the days of bliss,

When your love was all that I could miss.

Now, I'm like a white bird that's amiss,

Yearning for the warmth of your sweet kiss.

The blue sky reminds me of your eyes,

So full of love and undisguised.

Like a dove bird that wants to fly,

I want to soar with you up in the sky.

But now I'm lost in a sea of blue,

Alone without the love that was once true.

I long for your embrace, so warm and new,

Without you, I am but a distant hue.??
