Notice of absence from Neville
If I get the thumbs up tomorrow from my Doc, I hope to be in Miami on Friday for three days before jumping ship and spending three weeks sailing around South America .. Sheesh, what we do to try n get a touch of inspiration eh' .. Take care while I'm away & please forgive any delay in my going quiet for a while .. The Simple Art of Wondering
Where would we all be without
the sun, sky and the sea ..
He enquired, ever so politely ..
Where would we all go without
the moon, rain and the snow ..
She answered, oh’ so curiously ..
Where would we all be without
such haunting questions as these ..
They each whispered simultaneously ..
We simply don’t know they agreed ..
But that was alright because
some things, are best left a mystery ..

Sometimes, science, medicine, psychology, philosophy, etc. take away from life's enjoyment by giving us the explanation for many of life's mysteries. For instance, we now know why the tides rise and lower, what the surface of the moon and Mars look like, and we predict the weather more reliably. These are all good things, but their old mysteries were far more entertaining.
Your poem paints the same picture, "some things, are best left a mystery." I say, "Amen!" - Phil A.
