Memories in the Making..

Serene

On a late summer's night,
RCB lost to CSK, in the IPL fight!
We, 5 friends, decided to meet,
On Google, to chat and greet.

One Geneus friend had net woes,
So ditching G-meet, conference call is what we choose.
Then there's Serene me, redzoned and quiet,
Muted myself and listened to their unclear convo’s ignite.

My VI Internet treats me so fine,
That it takes the road to Kashmir each time.
Group chats and messages, all gone,
In this chaos, I was alone.

Then came another friend, joining my red zone crew,
Thankfully, his internet, did not bid adieu.
To make the convo, lively and bright,
My sleepy head Pal started to recite.

With noise and chaos all around,
Our words still held meaning profound.
Though sentences were unclear and broken,
We all were good at feeling what's spoken.

The hazy convo, lasted till 2 am,
A night we'll all remember, like a gem.
From an irritable moment to a memorable one,
We laughed and talked until we were done.

I don't wait for events that come once a year,
But for daily moments, adding value and cheer.
To my lovely fam who loves me true,
I love you all to the moon and back too.

Daily moments that add value and cheer

Such a nice phrase and it reaches into thoughts and leaves a mystical trail that if followed , will set all prepared for that destination.
It was a hood thought provoking piece that succeeds.
