Tune: Marching
(faster tune to 'Father, hear the prayer we offer')
Psalm 37 v.1-7
*******
Fret not over evil-doers
Nor that envy in heart stirs
Over those who work sinful deeds
They shall wither as do weeds
Trust in the Lord and do good, so
You shall dwell in the land, know
And truly you shall be fed, see
The Lord your provider be
Delight yourself too in the Lord
Follow him and hear His word
And He shall give you the desires
Of your heart, and [He] you inspires
Commit your way unto Him sure
Trust also in Him e'ermore
And He shall bring each thing to pass
All your life does encompass
He shall bring forth your righteousness
As the light, and you shall bless
Bring you justice, clear as noon day
True God-speed you on your way
Rest in the Lord, wait patiently
For Him, fret not, wicked, see
Though such seem a while to prosper
The Lord shall deal with them sure

Thank you, I needed that.
Thanks 2.
A very inspiring piece and the music was very nice as well.
Thanks SB.
The only fretting that is worst than guitar frets is fretting over evil and its doers. Nothing cryptic at all in that there poem/hymn.
Thanks CB. heehee, non-cryptic.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
