Your word is a lamp to my feet

And a light to my path sweet

I have sworn, and I will perform

It, I promise, I confirm

 

I will keep your righteous judgements

They close to me do I sense

I am very much afflicted

Revive me with daily bread

 

Inspire me, Lord, according to

You word, by it me renew

Accept my freewill offerings

What I have said, them I bring

 

Teach me your judgements, my soul is

In danger, yet comfort this

I do not your law forget, send

Grace to keep it to the end

 

The wicked have laid a snare for

To entrap me, it is sure

Yet I strayed not from your precepts

To your commands I have kept

 

Your testimonies have I here

Taken as heritage e'er

They are rejoicing of my heart

I love, obey, every part

 

My heart I have so inclined to

Perform your statutes, and you

I will follow unto the end

Through your grace I pray you send
