Revealings By The Spirit

Tune: St Magnus

('The head that once was crowned with thorns')

John 16 v.13-15

********

Jesus had many things to say

To disciples, but they

Could not bear them then, but when He

The Spirit of truth be

When He be come, He will us guide

Into all truth, reside

Within our hearts, not speak alone

But words of Jesus known

For He shall of Jesus' words hear

And speak them to us here

And He will show us things to come

Shall reveal, be not dumb

He shall glorify Jesus, for

He receives from Him sure

The things of Jesus, and shall show

Them to us, then we know

The Spirit takes of Jesus' things

Unto us He them brings

All things Father has, Jesus too

Has, we by grace them view

The revealing is the taking off of the veil that covers our awareness.

Glad someone's seeing the sea. I'm only seeing a stagnant puddle from where I am! lol.
