Touching The Heart

afropana14

The light of the world brightens when you smile

The voicer bellows greatly like sweet-vanilla candles on a New Year’s Day

The Swift beat of your heart makes me squirm

Except when you grant me the need to voice my own doubts and thoughts

I never have had a chance to love anybody in my entire life

Except when the heart allows entrance into the soul

My voice was silenced by denial and grief of people who have crushed me

But I never had a person to call my own until now

Lilies and tulips bloom forth to produce such elegant bounds of loneliness

But I never doubt those sounds had a melancholy tone to it

I thank thee for giving me the chance to speak up

The chains of mental enslavement have been shattered through reconnection and joy
