Sea and Sky

AJ Douglas

The border between sea and sky

blends inseparably in shades

of gray and powder blue

subtle hints of pallid green

like brush strokes of a painting

frozen in time within its frame

the salty air gellid as it fills

our elastic lungs and silences

our sanguine tongues

its frigid fingers finding

their way through the woven

fibers of every layer we wear

our bodies benumbed by

the brumal spell we're under

awakening within an ardent awe

and unwonted wonder

Wow! Having read a lot and I’m a curios sort hence over time my vocabulary grew so I get excited when I get to add words especially those I have no familiarity with. BRUMAL is such a word. I can’t Ben reason out a guess. I do however do my best to gain advantage due to sanquinity de lengua?
