Ache

Nia_stargirl

The stars trail a path,

I cannot follow

Shackled to the earth

But that never stopped us.

From wondering

Wishing,

To follow the eternally

Burning guide lights,

That would remain

Long after, I finish this mortal sentence

Is this punishment?

To always look up

And ache

Is it just our minds

Lusting after something inconceivable,

Or is it truly something more?

Our soul acheing to go,

To a place only it remembers.
