Tree and ladybird

Violet bluebell( used to be yellow rose)

A tree stands light smiling with the leaves of her mind
In spring feeling at her best although the birds seem to be at a distance the squirrels seem to be elsewhere collecting acorns

she stands with lightness in her mind
Leaves laughing at her best in spring
although she misses the singing notes of the birds in her space and the sensitive squirrels being playful allowing branches to have more friends

she stands lighthearted leaves laughing colours singing anyway
Yet something seems to be missing
A ladybird walks towards her bark talking in red roses and evenings sky little circles of calm dotted on her skin
She says hello to the tree
Little ladybird talkjng in red roses and the tree smiles

Hello little ladybird I see you and Thankyou for keeping me company
That’s ok says the little ladybird dotted with circles of calm
I’m glad to Keep you company and il Keep you company for a while

I've gone potty - PC mad (Politically correct). They are man-birds, or even person-birds! lol.

Just read Andys poem about birds and then this, one up the list - a theme is going on and another fine write from your elegant pen.

Thankyou peto πŸ™‚ I just thought to write about those two words β€˜ tree β€˜ and β€˜ ladybird β€˜ seemed like a nice idea .

But yeah I think I saw a ladybird a few weeks back sitting in the garden, but yeah never by a tree . I think they look gentle ..

It’s nice to write about nature

        Thanks for the kind words

      • Kinsey Peterson

many poets write about the natural world, yet not many provide it the beauty and justness of an elegant pen like you do my love
