Words of wisdom

NafisaSB

As philosophers expound

And wise men preach

Man-made laws by experiments drawn

Man does breach

What they teach

By relegating brain for the use of brawn

Aping the rage

Of the modern age

Man forgets his aim in life

By ways crude

He does denude

The world, of shame –

And causes strife

Let us vow

To reach the shore

Before the boat

Can capsize

Using our brain

To our own gain

Let us, for once

Be sane and wise.

    Who's wisdom?

  • L. B. Mek

    well then, good thing
girls can set us feeble men straight
and rid the world of all evil, overnight
    since, all blame is pre-assigned
    to 'man'
    lol
    yeah, ok
forgive me if i choose to believe
the warrior queen's in my life
and heroin's of history, who chose
    to not hide behind that
    oh so convenient victimhood
    status
    as their crutch, in life....

      good morning
obviously 'man' means mankind in general - so you can cast aside your fears - we are not going to hide behind anybody - but are prepared to wage our battles side by side against cruelty and violence of any kind
      have a great weekend..take care
