Writers block

peto

So I pick up this pen

Aa I try once again

To explain what's going on in my head

I cant find the right word

And I find it absurd

That this fills me with panic and dread

So why must I write

Just to hide on plain sight

Or is something much deeper ar play

And where is the rhyme

That was there in my prime

Did it get up and just walk away

I have so much to say

But i can't find a way

To get over this damn writers block

So I'll calm down my mind

And should hopefully find

A way to crack open the lock

Guess I'll just leave it there

And I'll see how I fare

When I next find the courage to try

It may take a big scare

Or a sordid affair

For this block to curl toes up and die

A good writing , peto )) nicely expressed poem

I think sometimes it can ‘ feel ‘ difficult to see write or atleast we can feel stuck ..

I know sometimes when I feel certain ways .. that I just feel I’m not even in the right place to write

    • peto

      Bang on Violet
      I've often wondered why bother
      Why must I
I think you nailed it with "stuck "
      Thank you very much

On some days go you feel like maybe there’s enough room to dance a little in your head. Cuz it must have room w those phrases springing free?

          • peto

Far too many broken bottles in there for dancing
            Truly appreciate your input Bobby
