A broad shadow coming down
onto ground
right in front of my eyes
an enormity of wings
protecting me like a feathered shield
reassuring me, that I wasn't alone
she was here
my very own miracle
holding on to me
my shakes and tremors
soothed by her grasp
her strength so powerful
guiding me through
with a sense of tranquility
I felt courageous...
and then out of nowhere I was.

I believe in angels , teddy 🙂
A lovely writing
Glad the Angel gave you courage
Thank you dear rose. 🤗 This was actually a very personal experience.
I once heard angels ‘ singing ‘ quite a few years ago sounded like a chorus of angels .. and I’ve only had white feathers in the house a few times aswell as seeing mirrors of light in my room
Yes , I think you have mentioned a experience before with angels
Such a caring gentle presence that they are
A fine write T.
KP scared me. She got some over-sized wings, pretending to be The Bird Woman! heehee. Anything to draw attention to herself. lol.
I talk some rubbish.
lol thanks so much orchi. 🤗
This is a wonderful write, Teddy! I'm glad you found your courage. I do believe in angels. Great job!
Thank you so much for coming by today dear Cristina 🤗
Dearest Teddy, this is so beautiful. To find that angel, that confidence and sense of well being that is priceless. Your angel shines inside and lights your way. God bless dear friend!
Thank you so much dear Bella, bless you too. 🤗
Our angels are always looking after us Teddy.
Andy
They are but I never knew until I experienced such. Thank you dear Andy. 🤗
brilliant, dear Poetess
love the patience you showcase
line by line, layering imagery
while unravelling your metaphor
great example of your skills
I think you got the pacing perfect
and that poetic voice, tonality
in-sync with your theme
it's not too bleak nor too upbeat
imbued with a
a tendril of that serenity we all
seek
(I know how much the angels
in your life, mean to you
so am so happy you inked a poem
to attest to their worth in your life)
a poem as beautiful
as the kind heart that penned it
thank you!
You have no idea what your words mean, I'm terrible at spacing grammar and lines, so I am so grateful dear Mek, I'm not the best at pasting copying and so on, I'm not a lover of technology I wish I was, so thank you thank you for your encouraging words. ❤️
