My tears are just salty water
once released, emotions freed
my heart doesn’t literally break
even when in a dramatic moment
it feels that way
I know that the rendering pain
I feel when my minds knives pierce my chest
are just feelings of grief?
but still, it doesn’t stop hurting
and of course
the dense fog hovering
over the river will always pass
and
the dark clouds which bring rain
will eventually move
onto the other side of the road
giving way to beautiful sunshine
and if I’m really lucky a rainbow?
all these things I know
but of love?
what of love?
of love…
I am still completely lost.

A fine write T.
Thank you Mr O 🤗
A wonderful write Teddy! I think most of us as we get older have felt the sting of loss
So very true dear Cristina thank you ❤️
Sad writing , yet nicely expressed .. like your mention of nature in this .. yes , feelings of sadness can pass but it’s difficult place to be in ,
Sure love is so many things my dear Rose. ❤️ Thank you
A wonderfully contemplative write my friend, about an emotion we could probably spend the rest of our lives trying to understand. You phrase this conundrum exquisitely.
Wow, thank you much dear Bella, ❤️
Love is so special in our loves and I am sure that it is within you Teddy.
Andy
It is dear Andy, I am very lucky, however love has so many angles that fascinate me I cannot help but dig out all that I've experienced in my life. ❤️
When it comes to love I feel that all are lost. In its pendulum swing love takes one to the heights of paradise to the depths of hell whose fires are only quenched with the salty tears. Another wonderful write.
And another wonderful review, thank you so much dearest sorrenbarret you always brighten my day too. 🌹
