From the heart

sorenbarrett

I don't want to hear anymore sad poems,

none of lust and love,

no words from the head or of your roams

or of God above

Tell me something inside of you

Something that is your part

Don't tell me of the world zoo

Just speak from the heart

The heart says "let go of things you can't control". Take each day as it comes, and deal with whatever it brings. Speak the truth and be content in doing the very best that you can. Thank you my friend, for this simply wonderful poem!

        beyond our ink's projected personas
        let us, reveal boldly
        scribble defiantly, to insure
imbued in all that we seek to share
with the world, is a lasting legacy
curated by our writing's, innate sincerity
        and thereby
letting our poems become a part
        of our integrity and worth...
(a write i really relate to dear Poet
as, in aspiring to reach our artistic heights
        we sometimes forget, that
our words need to be a reflection
of ourselves, not just a description
        of all that surrounds, us
thank you! such a meaningful write)
I read and try to heed
