Mined with sweat, from common rock
Smelted in the fire of fortune
We cast future in the forge of our thoughts
Poured into the mold of our will
It cools and hardens in time's sand
Shaped by adversities hammer and anvil
Tempered in the blood of suffering
Sharpened on the whetstone of love and hate
It is polished with wisdom and care
With it we cut for good or ill

Thank you Andy for the review and comments
indeed, we curate our character
from the sensations we experience
sculpting ourselves with each
deed or spoken word and aspiring
to become, that which we
desire to be recognised for, by those
in our lives, we care about
(a great write! wise Poet
words to contemplate, not just read and forget)
Thanks L.B. for the read and most kind words
