Another Better Day.

Goldfinch60

Every day is different!

People come into your life

And bring different things to you,

Some good and some not so good,

But if at the end of the day

You can lie down knowing,

Knowing in your heart

That you made somebodies day better,

Even just a little bit better,

You know that you have had a good day.

            (just the little things, needed
            to keep us grounded
to remind us, in each minute
            we exist free of pain
            and debilitating strife, we must
            remember, to be grateful
for the small mercies in our lives
            affording our free smiles)
            just lovely Andy, thank you
I drink gratefully from your poetry's
            fountain of positivity
