Man Eater
I wonder
and so many times
just how
many loves and lives
were lost
in the making
of this,
your most recent
fantasy ..
At least a dozen
I imagine
and each spun slow
upon
a finely tuned
and then, oh' so
gently turned rotisserie ..

My dear Nev, you know that you and I are quite like joint souls when it comes to love, I knew this title would be powerful poetry, and also somewhat comical, my sister was and still is a man eater lol love can surely mess up a perfectly good head. Love these ones you remind me of myself and what once I went through ❤️
cheers Teddy, do you still have your sisters address and cell phone number .. am asking for a friend ❤️
LoL, you are worth gold my friend trust me. ❤️ She lives in cuxton
Deffo another poem about KP and I. lol.
if it makes you happy ... maybe, but a gentleman, unlike a Guineapig neva tells 🐭
You beaten many eggs lately?! heehee.
I certainly haven't lost to any so far ..
sadness, in shrapnel
thickening our heartbeats
and deflated dreams
deceiving our appetites
for a love, replete
with our forever promises..
(still we must believe
dear Poet supreme
in-between our misses
exist glimpses of all
we can ever hope for..)
loving the wordless winks
a great read!
how extraordinarily, tho customarily kind of you brother .. many of my sincerest thank you's are on their way .. Neville
Wonderful poem, N! There certainly are some man eaters out there, aren't there? Great read....C
I know, aint it great ... 💜
I know no man-eaters. I'm an egg-eater - the ones I've just beaten! lol.
Fido says 'There, there, old Orchi, it's getting late in the day; ya brain's getting addled!' No change there then. lol. Time for me Horlicks.
My jungle has now got a smooth path into my future Neville, maybe yours will as well.
Andy
.. thanks for stopping by & leaving a touch of optimism behind sir .. 🙂
It's always what you manage to say without saying it for me, personally... The truths scream silently, almost horrifically though, herein. Respect, brother.
Thank you and back at ya Garth ..
