Words fail me.

Job Welime

Today I sail oceans of dictionaries, and still I don't seem to find the words to tell about the things within,
One song ago I was thinking,if happy ever after did exist, maybe I would still be holding you like my life depended on it,
I am wandering down the lyrics of this old sad love song, threading our memories from dates under the sky filled with stars to this heartache sensible enough to draw tears from my eyes,
Piece by piece I gave you all of me, leaving me with nothing but emptiness inside, why aren't this bare bones visible to you, haven't I given enough?

    Lovely writing

    I especially like these lines

Today I sail oceans of dictionaries, and still I don't seem to find the words to tell about the things within,

    Beautiful words

no regrets, give it all we got
    makes it easier later
when we're trying to move on..
    (I so relate dear poet
    thanks for sharing)

This made my heart melt, especially the last stanza... That powerful refrain "Why haven't I given enough?" can't not be felt... A moving write. Respect.

    Hi Job,
That was a very touching and wrenching write...Can feel the pain and you have expressed it beautifully. Love, loss everything is exquisite in your words....
May you recover this loss soon...

Love this one too my friend,
I'm sorry that you had to experience heartache, but we can learn and grow from every experience, good or bad,
