Daybreak

sorenbarrett

Although the road does twist and turn

in the cold wind tossed or mire lost

you need have no concern

There's only one thing you must learn

when you give up all hope and in despair grope

when for home you yearn

My guiding force will always burn

spreading light, breaking the darkest night,

Like the sunrise I will always return

        sunrays of promise inked
        with poetic intent
(feels like a friend's comforting whisper
        worded eloquently succinct)
        'soothing'
        thank you kind Poet, lovely
