Tune: Aberystwyth
('Lord, if with thee part I bear'
= 'Jesu, lover of my soul')
Psalm 73 v.23-28
********
I am continual with you
Only God and only true
You have held me my your hand
As I traversed every land
You shall with your counsel guide
Shall show me it and not hide
And afterwards shall receive
Me to glory, I believe
Whom have I in heaven but you?
None can compare, not e'en few
There none on earth I desire
Beside you hear, near, not far
My flesh and my heart they fail
But with God I shall prevail
He the strength of my heart, rock
Standing through each trouble, shock
He my portion for ever
I dissatisfied never
They that be far from you they
Shall perish, no lasting day
But it good for me to draw
Near to God, abide e'ermore
Put my trust in Him, declare
All His works, with others share

Yep, sure is, thanks N. I've run out of 7's now.
Abiding assurance that I'll always be here watching you lol 💖
Thanks T. lol. It seems 'assurance' is something that WILL happen, and 'insurance' is something that MAY happen - then again in may not happen! Doh!
Same as: Cheer up, it may never happen. But what if it has already happened? We must know these things! lol.
Something we all need in our lives, Thank you Orchi!
Thanks Bella.
Good one Orchi.
