They say roses are red and violets are blue,
but then violets are more purple than they are blue.
Maybe violets are not as sad as they appear to be,
like the roses that are always radiant with glee.
You gift a rose to symbolize your love,
it’s genuine, it’s true, it’s pure like a dove.
Violets on the other hand are not as acknowledged,
I mean when was the last time someone was gifted a violet and still got applauded?
Roses wither after a living a good life,
doing it’s job making things right.
Violets don’t wither, they rot.
It seems roses are happy while violets are not.
From start to finish it ends in a circle,
Maybe violets are more blue than they are purple.

(wonderful metaphors
I like your creativity, and poetic ambition
forgive me
I couldn't help but ink a few feeble lines
as some kind of poetic response
thanks for sharing your art
and inspiring us)
our blue bruises, purple
with time
violet petals, darken
when plucked from their rose
comfort..
we too, seek comfort
in the pigment of our skin
flowerbeds as our hiding place
we strive to belong
hoping it doesn't rain and shed
these tattoos we use to cover
our skin..
your profile interested me your name just gave off a vibe you have not let me down the flow and rhyming schemes you came up with are crazy and how the last line just sends the final blow it is art you should be proud of im sure you would find a common ground with a few of my pieces i would recommend GREED if you feel like checking out
