Meditative Meandering

orchidee

Tune: Ravenshaw

('Lord, thy word abideth')

*********

Forgive Lord, where I fret

Of things past, or not yet

Meditation disturbed

Distracted from your word

Search my heart, you know me

All things of me you see

All-seeing, All-knowing

Ever my Lord and King

Spirit e'er residing

In sanctum abiding

Of my heart, though fill me

My whole being purely

I may to you draw near

Worship in lowly fear

Your presence be dwelling

In me, rule o'er each thing

What I want or desire

Your wisdom best by far

Help me seek of those things

Do what glory you brings

Heart our central core be

And too our mind you see

E'en our whole life you know

In Christ's image we grow
