TO MAKE ME DROWN

k.si._

Sitting on my couch watching TV

I suddenly think of you

the thoughts come & linger on me

memories play, I hate it though.

After all you did, I still love you

in my saddest times I think if you'd be here

holding my hand and protecting love

I have scars, too many of em

you gave it to me as your legacy.

I saw a dream of us

perfect in some other multiverse

you were my lover but then a monster

and yet I ran in your arms.

Holding my breath in water

but I couldn't see you were the one

holding my neck down and down

to make me drown.
