Lack Thereof

It isn't healthy

To have gotten this comfortable with this pain

But I can barely feel it any more

It does come in waves, yes,

But it used to be this feeling

That was ever-present, never going away

But now, that feeling isn't there anymore

Or it is, but my heart has grown used to it

Forcing me to not sense its presence

I have been heartbroken before

But never like this, so this feeling,

Or lack thereof, is a new sensation for me
