If I get the thumbs up tomorrow from my Doc, I hope to be in Miami on Friday for three days before jumping ship and spending three weeks sailing around South America .. Sheesh, what we do to try n get a touch of inspiration eh' .. Take care while I'm away & please forgive any delay in my going quiet for a while .. In these four lines you have encapsulated the frustration of a poet with the language he/she is working with. How many times in writting have I found the word in another language much more fitting for either meaning or rhyme and at time there exists no word that I know that expresses the feeling and no simple metaphor either.
