Hit Me Again with Your Pain! A song inspired by “Shelter Me from the Rain” an improvised piece of “Hyper-Pop” by Beardyman Ft. MC HyperScott

V1

I need you to keep on beat, too many miles, blistered feet,

just keep my crying, to let me remain in play!

I’m insane if I don’t bleed, I need you to take the lead,

guide my ache, to let me remain in play!

Chorus

Hit me again with your pain, to keep me still in play! x2

(last time around x4)

V2

Daily routine, an open wound, that will never soothe,

lie to me teacher, to let me remain in play!

A fleshing puppet I do love, instruction from up above,

lie to me preacher, to let me remain in play!

V3

I’ve made my mistaken bed, made up of recycled dread,

keep me from light, to let me remain in play!

As a human can never learn, so let my short life burn,

this is what I do, in keeping myself in play!

  • Comment from author about the poem: Recently, I've considered myself to be a victim of overconcentrated micro-judgements and micro-management, thus, I've been wondering, "can I be this wrong?" When I ask, "wrong", I mean, is my natural way of doing things deemed "not allowed" by certain people, because it's wrong, or because they, in their stale submissiveness, have made too potent a habit out of the norm, thus according to a "mob mentality," they make it too great a tide to swim against? Evidentially, when it comes to the system, and certain parameters that comprise the norm, it is clear they have become poisonousness, as they provide an agonizing prolonged divisiveness, and a general sense of dissatisfying moroseness. The same people having it their way, is not a change for the better!! Money should only talk, if the deeds attached to it are sound!! With this, I thought I would write this song, entitled "Hit Me Again with Your Pain!" Which was inspired by the above exasperations, and "Shelter Me from the Rain" an improvised piece of “Hyper-Pop” by Beardyman Ft. MC HyperScott (Internet's Tom Scott). Please find the YouTube link above. I hope that you like and take something from these lyrics, to the people who over-instruct, please have a look in the mirror, and as always, please do stay safe everyone.
