Five years.
Batten
down the
hatches.
Change
like no
other.
Through
the ages
millennia
past.
Generation
to generation
same as
before.
What was
is what
was.
Millions
came and
went.
Little
change.
Simpler
times.
Simpler
lessons
passing
on.
No more!
Exponential
acceleration.
Senses
bombardment.
Overwhelming.
Overload.
Technological
tsunamis.
Change
as never
before.
Stressing.
Fracturing.
Everything,
all around.
Civilization
under
duress.
Fives
years to
unrecognizable.

This maybe very true John, things are changing so quickly in life (death?).
Andy
Death, yup for dudes our age we’ll probably not need to worry about a radical future. 😱 Thanks for reading Andy.

we assume tomorrow's would just follow
-on, like a page turn
in the annals of Time
then, here comes a plague
a vote
a choice horrendous, hoodwinked
too late for regret
Nietzsche warned us
'We killed God'
know what?
since religion's
took it upon themselves
to warp all of society's morals
with their convoluted fantasy lore
now what
we chucked out those vile abusive priests
and Pop's with warmongering KIDS
but
now our secular society
is devoid of meaning
people forget
before religion, we had
marriage
before religion, we had
nuclear family
before religion, we had
respect for our elders and those
who merited our admiration
now
it's all nihilistic neurotics
demanding, assuming
their capacity for breath
entitles them to all the selfish
idiocy they can get away with
so now, job interviews
no longer ask
what do see yourself doing in five years
since the entire world
is clueless, all we can do is guess
just how far we have left to regress
until we reach rock bottom...
'these be worrying time's'
said every generation before us
and whatever generation may survive us
“We killed god” yet we created the concept. Thank you for reading LBM.
